There are certain celebrity ex-wives out there that weren’t all that famous before meeting their A-list hubbies, but that wasn’t the case for Loni Anderson. Anderson’s acting career started all the way back in 1966, and she had landed supporting roles on many different shows that ranged from “S.W.A.T.” to “Three’s Company”. Early in her career, Anderson had been married twice. First, it was Bruce Hasselberg (1964 to 1966) and then Ross Bickell (1973 to 1981).

During her second marriage, Anderson had the biggest role of her career, starring as Jennifer Marlowe on the hit comedy series “WKRP in Cincinnati”. When the series ended in 1981, Anderson turned her attention to film. In her first big comedy film after the show ended, she appeared in “Stroker Ace”. It was on the set of that film when she met actor Burt Reynolds.

Reynolds and Anderson started a relationship shortly afterwards, and would tie the knot in 1988. Early on in their marriage, the couple adopted a son named Quinton. Unfortunately, the marriage would not last long and she cut ties with Reynolds in 1993. Though five years might not sound very long, that’s pretty impressive for Hollywood.

Since the marriage ended, Anderson has only appeared in two feature films, both coming in 1998. The first was “3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain” with the other being the comedy hit “A Night at the Roxbury”. In 1997, Anderson also released an autobiography called “My Life in High Heels”. As for her television career, Anderson remained busy with a starring role in “Nurses”, a recurring role and “Melrose Place” and a couple of sporadic appearances. However, just one episode of “Baby Daddy” in 2016 is her only acting credit in the past decade.
