“It’s just fun just being a girl.” Nicknamed “The Weapon of Mass Seduction” on Dancing with the Stars, Stacy Keibler first made a name for herself as a professional wrestler and manager with World Wrestling Entertainment and World Championship Wrestling. After retiring from the ring in 2006, her long legs and undeniable beauty made her a sex symbol as she launched her career as a model and actress with covers on Stuff and Maxim magazines. With her appearance on Stuff selling the most copies in the magazine’s history, Keibler was well on her way to stardom as she made appearances on popular series like What About Brian, October Road and How I Met Your Mother shortly after she wowed the judges with a third-place finish on the second season of Dancing with the Stars. Still going strong today, let’s take a look at how a Ravens cheerleader dazzled her way into the ring as The Legs of WCW! Advertisements:

Stacy Ann-Marie Keibler came into this world on October 14, 1979 in Rosedale, Maryland where, at three years old, she was already studying tap dancing, jazz and ballet at the Jean Kettell Studio of Dance in the neighboring town of Dundalk. With unmistakable beauty and charm, she was six years old when she snagged her first modeling job with appearances in nation-wide television commercials that earned her a membership into the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists by her tenth birthday. Even then, Keibler had both beauty and brains as she attended St. Clement Mary Hofbauer School and the Catholic High School of Baltimore before she earned her degree in mass communication at Towson University.

Amid her academics, Keibler was 18 years old when her dad encouraged her to try out for the Baltimore Ravens cheerleading squad, a new team that was established in 1996. “I danced my whole life and my dad really wanted me to try out for the Raven’s cheerleading team,” Keibler recalled, “but I didn’t want to do it. I was eighteen and I didn’t want to spend my weekdays practicing. But I went to the audition anyway just to make my dad happy. Although, I knew in the back of my mind I was never going to get the job because I didn’t know anything about football.” With a strong competitive streak, Keibler’s opinion changed when she arrived at the audition where hundreds of girls were waiting to try out. “That’s when I thought it would be pretty cool to be only one of twenty girls selected.”

Learning to love football, Keibler was a star on the cheerleading squad and even snagged a few acting credits in films like Pecker in 1998 and Liberty Heights in 1999. With her boyfriend, Kris Cumberland, interested in wrestling at the time, Keibler started to learn more about the sport and entered the Nitro Girl contest with World Championship Wrestling. Winning the audition and earning her place as a Nitro Girl—not to mention a $10,000 check, which she used to buy Ravens season tickets, Keibler quickly became a fan favorite among the crowd as she took the ring as Mrs. Hancock and became known for her table dances. Of course, her storyline was incredibly helpful as Mrs. Hancock was a wrestling manager who was involved with David Flair, which led to an unexpected pregnancy. Just like a daytime soap opera, right?

When World Wrestling Entertainment purchased World Championship Wrestling, WWE executives liked Keibler so much that they extended her contract with the company and she took her spot as manager for the Dudley Boyz, Scott Steiner and Test. “When Vince [McMahon] bought WCW, they called me right away and said that there were going to be changes made, but that I was fine and not to worry about anything. I’ve had a blast ever since,” Keibler said. Boosting her fame with the WWE, Keibler’s sex appeal attracted a new wave of audiences as she earned nicknames like “The Legs of WWE” and “Super Stacy.”

Five years into her work on the wrestling circuit, Keibler was at the height of her career with the WWE when she was invited to put on her dancing shoes and compete on the second season of Dancing with the Stars. With plenty of experience on the dancefloor, Keibler had no problems wowing the audience or the judges as she and professional dancer Tony Dovolani took home a second-place finish with judge Bruno Toniolo nicknaming her the “Weapon of Mass Seduction” for her incredible beauty, jaw-dropping talent and mile-high legs!

Retiring from wrestling in 2006, Keibler focused more on her acting career and snagged her first recurring role in six episodes of the short-lived series What About Brian in 2007. She guest-starred in episodes of George Lopez, The Comebacks and October Road with her stardom and sex appeal skyrocketing in 2008 when she was named one of the “100 Sexiest Women of the Year” by FHM. Months later, she appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and set a new record when she graced the cover of Stuff magazine with the issue selling the most copies in magazine history.

Over the last decade, Keibler has repeatedly said “no” to posing for Playboy arguing that if she’s meant to make the money, she’ll find another way to earn it than posing nude. Instead, she’s happily hosted a number of shows including the E! Network special Maxim’s Celebrity Beach Watch: 15 Hottest Bodies and Spike TV’s The Ultimate Spike Girl of 2009 Finale. In 2013, she was named the host of Lifetime’s newest series, Supermarket Superstar, which featured home chefs competing to have their products distributed in supermarkets around the country.

Beyond her life in the spotlight, the 37-year-old Keibler has made headlines for her relationships with leading men like George Clooney and Jamie Foxx over the years but, since 2014, has settled down with her husband, businessman Jared Pobre. With a four-year-old daughter at home, Keibler’s priorities may be different but she’s still as beautiful as ever with some of the sexiest legs in Hollywood!
